BluEnergy
The BluEnergy project aims the conception and development of low cost and durable redox flow batteries and its production process to store energy from renewable sources, as well as the development of a new concept of electrodes and a new system of energy storage based on polyoxometalates (POMs).

With an investment of 1.176.836,79€, this project is co-financed under Portugal 2020 Program in 704.096,18€ from European Regional Development Fund. BluEnergy project will be in force for three years, from June 2020 to June 2023, with Simoldes Plásticos as promoter, Visblue Portugal and Porto University as co-promoters.
