Location: Simoldes Plásticos S.A. – Portugal, on-site
Objective: Management of new business unit at Simoldes, Energy. In this new unit Simoldes will start with the Storage Energies technologies.
Responsibilities:
• To lead, motivate and develop the Energy Storage Team
• To manage across relations with Universities, Technical Centers, and Suppliers
• Technical and Financial project management & reporting
• Team management and cross-functional collaboration, top and down
• Design innovation road map for new technologies
• Human resources development in technical and soft skills
• Encourage a design of an ecosystem & infrastructure in the energy
• Report to R&I Manager, CEO and Simoldes Board
Qualifications:
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in chemical engineering, electrochemistry, chemistry, mechanical or related areas
• 3-5 years of experience with European or national funding programs
• Demonstrated success in people leadership
• Some degree of experience with renewable energies
• Intermediate knowledge in electrochemistry (+2-3 years of experience)
• Intermediate knowledge in material science (+2-3 years of experience)
• Proficiency in English
