TEXBOOST – Less commodities more specialities
The mobilizing project TexBoost – Less Commodities more Specialties, is a structural project of the Textile Cluster: Technology and Fashion, which aims to comprise a set of R & D initiatives of strong collective character and high inductor and demonstration effect, with central involvement of Textiles and Clothing companies, but also of other sectors of the economy.

The leading promoter of the project is RIOPELE, under the technical coordination of CITEVE, and is divided into 5 technical PPS (Products, Processes and Services) that aim the development of innovative solutions in different areas. TexBoost involves 43 entities, 28 companies and 15 non-business R&I entities (ENESII). Simoldes Plásticos is involved in the PPS 3 (New technical and smart structures: Development of complex structures for application in the automotive sector and protective clothing) as a co-promotor along with CITEVE, CENTI, INEGI and TMG.
