AM4SP – Additive Manufacturing for Smart Plastics
The AM4SP project aims to plan, develop, demonstrate and validate a set of innovative and disruptive solutions conducive to obtaining an intelligent door panel, integrating customized components, and with ability to match the new demands of the automotive industry, using, from a technological point of view, AM technologies and, from the point of view of technical skills and competences, the know-how held by the entities that make up the consortium: Simoldes Plásticos as promoter and Universidade de Aveiro.
This is a three years project, occurring from December 2020 to June 2021, with an overall investment of 2.111.281,35€, co-financed under Portugal 2020 Program in 1.997.428,61€ from European Regional Development Fund.
