Candidate Personal Data Processing Policy

Data Protection Commitment:

The Companies (*) belonging to the Tools Division of the Simoldes Group, sub-holding named Simoldes III – Tool Division, S.A., and hereinafter referred to as Tool Division. Comply with all EU and national legal regulations.

These regulations are applicable in the field of data protection, privacy and security of personal information of the applicants.  They are in accordance with the terms of the Data Protection and Privacy Policy and can be checked at the link below. Personal Data:

The Tools Division (Tool Division) collects and processes various personal data from candidates. The personal data is as follows. Name, title, function, company where you work and contacts in the company. Business card data, data on your CV or application form.

Data Sources:

Tool Division collects personal data from candidates from the submission of personal CVs, the completion of the application form or from various sources of personal information. These sources are accessible to the general public (websites, professional networks, social media, etc.) as well as on the basis of personal references.

Purpose of Processing:

Tool Division processes the personal data of applicants solely for the purposes of human resource management and the selection or recruitment of employees.

Legitimacy of Processing:

The Tool Division bases the lawfulness of the processing of the personal data of the Applicants either on the basis of the Applicants’ consent or on the basis of legitimate human resource management interest. This is for the purpose of the selection and recruitment of human resources for economic activity.

Data Retention Period:

Tool Division shall retain the data for the period necessary for the purposes of the processing in compliance with the legal time limits. The candidate may at any time request the erasure of the data or exercise any other right. The default retention period for curricula and personal data of candidates processed by the human resources management services is three years and one day.

Communication of Personal Data:

Candidates’ personal data is processed exclusively by Tool Division’s human resources management services and no data is communicated to third parties.

Applicants’ Rights:

Tool Division facilitates the exercise of the candidates’ rights concerning the protection of personal data. Applicants may always lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (for the exercise of any kind of data protection rights).
