Function Description:
This function aims to develop Components for the Automotive Industry, in direct collaboration with the main brands of the Automotive Industry (Stellantis Group, VW Group, Renault, etc.)
The development of these components will be carried out using CAD and PLM tools, complying with the customer’s requirements and ensuring that the Product is manufacturable.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate intensively with the Product Specialist in order to support the activity with the customer
– Ensure the correct execution of the 3D and 2D Models of the Product, within the Simoldes standards.
– Support in defining the characteristics and technical specificities of each Product and its technical feasibility.
– Support in the elaboration of the product’s FMEA.
– Support in defining and validating admissible tolerances and measurable points.
– Manage the documentary information related to the development of the Product.
– Ensuring that internal procedures are complied with, and that specific standards are applied within the scope of project development.
– To be an active element in the Development team in order to improve the profitability of projects in the development and series phases.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Polymers) or equivalent professional experience
Modeling software domain (CATIA V5 preferred or similar)
Knowledge of 3D solid and surface modeling
Technical drawing knowledge
Knowledge of spoken and written English (other languages will be valued)
Capacity Teamwork, dialoguing with the functional areas and with the technical areas
Ability to analyze detail and critical spirit
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Availability to travel
Preferred requirements:
Experience in the development of components for the automotive industry.
Knowledge of injection molding technologies
Knowledge of CATIA V5 software
